Mission Statement

Saving it by Paving it!

Pave the Peaks is an organization dedicated to providing people who would not otherwise have access to the San Francisco Peaks an opportunity to experience the San Francisco Peaks. Through excellence in every aspect, Pave the Peaks strives to improve the communities surrounding the Peaks, and offer community members, and visitors an outstanding outdoor experience.

Goals and Objectives

Pave the Peaks has one major goal. This goal is to enhance community members, and visitor’s lives. At Pave the Peaks we plan to achieve this goal by using asphalt to create roads and parking areas. Pave the Peaks wants to create a network of driveable, paved roads leading to the top of the mountain, where visitors can find a variety of parking areas. This network of roads and parking areas will enhance community members and visitor’s lives in two ways. First, people who are unfit to hike, for whatever reason, can now see the beauty and splendor gazing from atop the highest point in Arizona. Secondly, creating new parking spaces will create less parking problems for members of the city of Flagstaff, AZ, a city known for its extreme traffic, and parking problems. At Pave the Peaks we believe that change is inevitable, and we believe we can move change along a little faster to enhance members of our community as well as visitor’s lives.
